Vanessa Kay is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Vanessa offers in hospital (BVDH),  at home and virtual Infant Feeding Consults to help you meet your feeding goals. This care is offered to communities of the Bulkley Valley, Witset, Hazeltons, 

Ft Babine, Houston and Burns Lake.    

Lactation Consults are free for Prenatal clients and for anyone up to 7 weeks postpartum. Healthcare providers can access the referral form by emailing headwaters.midwiferycare@gmail.com.

7 weeks to 3 months of age. 

Clients can self refer by contacting via email or phone.

• I will not be breast/chest feeding my baby - can you provide support for supplemental feeding?      Yes!

• My baby may have an oral tie, do you offer assessments of tongue and lip ties?        Yes!
